Originally, the city’s water came from wells located in the Tilghman Park area. Today, Chandler’s primary water supply is Bell Cow Lake. After the water is treated at the water treatment plant at the Lake, it is delivered to two large holding tanks (clearwells). The water is then pumped to water towers. From there it is distributed to residents and businesses via miles of primary and secondary water lines located throughout the city.
